How the license works

Sign in to your account in the simulator to activate this computer. Your entitlement is separate from offline authorization: in periodic mode, authorization lasts up to 7 days and is renewed daily when connected.

    Install the program

    Install NiaBend on the computer where you want to use the simulator.

    Sign in to your account

    On the License screen, enter your account email and password. One available simulator license with automatic renewal can be activated after sign-in.

    Choose your license

    If you have several licenses, choose the one to use. If it is already assigned, confirm which computer to replace. The application receives and verifies the issued authorization.

    Use the simulator

    Connect periodically to renew the offline authorization. A .lic file can also be installed manually, according to the purchased mode.

Why we need the machine code

The program computes an identification of the computer from Windows itself, and the license is issued for that identification. That's what keeps the file from working on another machine — and it's why we can't generate the license before you install: the identification only exists there.

The identification changes if Windows is reinstalled. Swapping a secondary drive or the network card doesn't change it.

The states the program can show, and what to do in each one.

Active active

The license matches this machine and is within its validity. Nothing to do.

No license none

No license file was found. Activate a valid license on this computer to use the program.

Expired expired

Offline authorization or the purchased entitlement has expired. Connect the application to renew authorization; if the entitlement has expired, renew your plan from your account.

For another machine wrongMachine

This license was issued for a different computer. For periodic simulator licenses, confirm the transfer in your account. Machine and permanent offline licenses require support.

Invalid invalid

The file is corrupted or wasn't issued by us. Download it again from your account.

Suspect suspect

The Windows date and time are inconsistent with the history. Set the computer's clock and open the program again.

I changed computers

The simulator with periodic validation allows two transfers per license each week, resetting on Sunday at midnight in Brasília. Confirm the change in the application or your account; the previous computer does not need to be on.

When connected, the previous computer will be blocked at its next check. Offline, it can run until its remaining authorization expires, for at most 7 days. Legacy licenses require deactivation confirmation. Machine and permanent offline licenses can only be transferred through support.

Renewal

Technical renewal is daily and automatic, with no charge and no transfer used. Each authorization permits up to 7 days offline, limited by the end of the purchased entitlement. Commercial renewal extends that entitlement according to the order; renewing early does not shorten the period already paid for. A lifetime plan also uses short authorizations in periodic mode. Lifetime owners may confirm a switch to permanent offline use; after issuance, transfers and returning to periodic mode require support.

Where the file lives

The program keeps the license at Documentos\NiaBend\license.lic. You don't need to copy it there by hand — the install button does that. Next to it the program keeps a small date-control file, which is what stops you from setting the Windows clock back to extend the validity.
